David Andrew John "Andy" Samberg is an American actor, comedian, musician, writer, and producer, as well as a member of the comedy group trio The Lonely Island. He is best known for being a cast member in the NBC late-night sketch comedy and variety show Saturday Night Live (2005-2012), Dale "Cuckoo" Ashbrick in the BBC Three sitcom Cuckoo, and Jake Peralta in the Fox/NBC sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013-2021). He is also well-known for voicing Ham III in Fox's Space Chimps, Junior the stork in the 2016 WAG animated film Storks and Dale in the 2022 Disney Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers .
For Sony Pictures Animation, he voices Brent McHale in the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs franchise, Jonathan Loughran in the Hotel Transylvania franchise, and Ben Reilly / Scarlet Spider in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
