Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. (commonly known as Columbia Pictures or simply Columbia) is an American film studio, production company and film distributor that is a member of the Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group, a division of Sony Entertainment's Sony Pictures subsidiary of the Japanese multinational conglomerate Sony Corporation. Sony Pictures Animation's films, excluding their direct-to-video releases, are released by Sony Pictures Releasing through Columbia Pictures.
The logo was not featured at the beginning of The Star, Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, The Angry Birds Movie 2, and Wish Dragon, possibly due to only distributing the films and its print logo can only be seen in the credits. The print logo is not seen at the end of Vivo and Hotel Transylvania: Transformania.
On Peter Rabbit, the Sony Pictures Animation logo appears before this logo. Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween was originally going to use this method, but it was swapped.
