Jake Austin Szymanski, known professionally as Jake T. Austin, is an American actor and voice actor, who began his career as a child actor at the age of seven. He is a five-time Young Artist Award nominee, best known for his role as Max Russo in the Disney Channel Original Series Wizards of Waverly Place and Bruce in the 2009 DreamWorks comedy film Hotel for Dogs. He also voiced Diego in Seasons 1-3 of the Nick Jr. series Go, Diego, Go!, Fernando in the Blue Sky's Rio films, Bluz in Season 2 of Happy Monster Band, Khumba from Khumba. Additionally, he starred in the Freeform drama series The Fosters for the first two seasons before leaving the show.
