Margo Kess is a supporting character in the 2023 film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

Personality[]
Margo is shown to be very tech-savvy, and shows an extensive amount of knowledge surrounding technology. she is able to be at the society via VR and is in charge of bringing variants of villains back to their own dimensions via the Go-Home-Machine. Margo is also a very intelligent individual, while also having a more sarcastic side to her, such as when she first encounters Miles.
While she was apart of the Spider-Society, and was trying to stop the Go-Home-Machine from sending Miles home, when she found out that he was in there, she let him escape, proving that she has a good heart.

Technological Prowess: Being one of the main operators of the Go-Home-Machine and many other technological devices, Margo has shown to have experience with electronics.
Spider-Sense: Like the other Spider-People, Margo possesses a sixth sense known as Spider-Sense, which activates when there is danger or another Spider-Person is nearby. This helps her detect threats with ease and gives her near full awareness of her surroundings.
Limb-Stretching: Unlike the other Spider-People, Margo does not possess webshooters of her own. Instead, she extends her arms to inhuman lengths to travel distances quickly and capture villains.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse[]
Margo was recruited by Miguel O'Hara to join his Spider-Society. She became one of the operators of the Go-Home-Machine with LYLA. One day, Margo would meet Miles Morales and quickly befriended him. Miles would attempt to hit on Margo as he had thought Gwen and Hobie had a thing. Overtaken by jealousy, Gwen pulled Miles away with her web as Miles said goodbye to Margo.
As the Society chased Miles, Margo stayed behind to watch the machine. However, when Miles started the machine up, Margo tried to stop it until she saw her friend inside it. Margo became conflicted until she ultimately decided to let Miles go back to his home universe. After Miles left, Margo began to question the Spider-Society, especially when Miguel kicked Gwen out and send her back to her universe. Margo decided to quit the Spider-Society and join the Spider-Gang to help save Miles after he got sent to the wrong universe, as well as stop the Spot from destroying the Multiverse.
