Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse[]

Mary Jane fell in love with Peter B. Parker and they were married. However, Peter and Mary's marriage got rocky because of his stressful hero work and bad luck in the years to come. Eventually, Mary wanted kids but they divorced after Peter was afraid to endanger her or their kids because of his hero life. Peter remarked on how he may have broken her heart, as seen when she was sad at the proceedings.

Peter was later transported to Miles Morales' universe, where he finds his counterpart had a portrait of Mary Jane. He was saddened to see a picture that had another version of his wife. He later has a chance of meeting the widowed alternate Mary Jane. Peter B. confused her for his own Mary and made promises to her, which confused her until Gwen dragged him away.

After Peter returned to his own universe, he decided to win his former wife back. Mary was surprised to see him at her door with flowers.
