An untitled film produced by Sony Pictures Animation was announced in December 2023 and is being directed by Matt Braly (creator of Amphibia), who is also writing the film alongside Rebecca Sugar (creator of Steven Universe).[1]

The film tells the story of a young boy who goes on an emotional journey to a fantastical world of Thai spirits where he hopes to have his illness cured.
